1. Creating a Social Media Strategy: This workshop would focus on teaching participants how to develop a comprehensive social media strategy. It would include identifying target audiences, setting objectives, choosing the right platforms, and planning content.

2. Content Creation Bootcamp: A hands-on workshop where participants learn to create compelling content for social media. This could include graphic design basics, video production, writing engaging posts, and using tools like Canva or Adobe Spark.

3. Social Media Analytics and Reporting: Participants would learn how to track and analyze social media metrics, using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or other analytics platforms. The workshop would teach how to interpret data to refine strategy and measure success.

4. Social Media Management: This workshop will cover the skills needed to manage and grow an online community. Topics could include moderation techniques, engagement strategies, and handling negative feedback or crisis situations. Managing your social media posts and social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others

5. Paid Social Media Advertising: A deep dive into creating and managing paid social media campaigns. This could include learning about targeting options, budgeting, creating ad content, and understanding the algorithms of platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

6. Influencer Marketing: Participants would learn how to identify, reach out to, and collaborate with influencers. The workshop would cover how to align influencer partnerships with brand goals and measure the impact of these collaborations.

7. Social Media and SEO Integration: This workshop will teach how social media efforts can complement and enhance search engine optimization (SEO). Topics might include content optimization for search, leveraging social media for link building, and understanding the relationship between social signals and search rankings.

8. Emerging Technologies and Trends in Social Media: A forward-looking workshop focusing on the latest trends in social media, such as the use of artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, and understanding the impact of emerging platforms.

*Participants who complete 6 out of 8 workshops in this cohort shall be eligible for a one-time reimbursement of 75 percent of eligible hardware and software expenses as identified during intake, up to a maximum of $1,500. For example, if a business owner spends $1,000 on hardware, they would be eligible for a reimbursement of $750.

 To be eligible, participants must:

  • Be incorporated or operating in Hennepin County
  • Have 6 months of operating history (Latest Update)
  • Be registered with the Minnesota Secretary of State
  • Report less than $1 million in annual revenue
  • Be receptive to coaching and mentorship
  • Attend 8 of 10 workshops. Set up a one-on-one help session.
