Stories have the power to influence individuals and businesses alike, yet many entrepreneurs struggle to craft impactful stories that resonate with their target market and potential stakeholders.

The Nasdaq Center is excited to host Michael Gaines, Founder and CEO at Gaines Consulting, to share guidance and resources to improve communication and propel your strategic initiatives toward success through storytelling. Micheal Gaines

Executive Coach & Founder, Gaines Consulting

Michael Gaines is the founder of Gaines Consulting. Through facilitation, training and coaching, he specializes in helping clients develop strategy, communication and leadership skills. As an executive coach, he has trained professionals that span from engineers in high-tech Silicon Valley-based organizations to partners in worldwide professional services firms. He also enjoys coaching and facilitating for non-technology entrepreneurial businesses, such as design firms and virtual wine-making operations.

Michael has consulted with executives and faculty at Apple, Google, Facebook, Adobe, NetApp, Comcast, Hewlett Foundation, Synaptics, Yahoo, KPMG, Deloitte, Grey, Mekanism, Autodesk, eBay, Cirrus Logic, Hexcel, Stanford University and the University of San Francisco.

Before becoming an executive coach, Michael began his career as an instructor and business development manager for corporate training at Outward Bound, Michael delivered leadership development programs for Coca-Cola, Home Depot and Cox Enterprises. His operational experience stems from his first career as a production manager for Carsey Werner Productions and later for NBC Sports and Turner Broadcasting, where he managed the budgets and logistics for the NBA Championships, World Cup Soccer and Olympic Games.

Michael is the past co-president of the Northern California Chapter of the Association for Strategic Planning and is the current co-chair of Illuminate the Arts, the organization that brought The Bay Lights to San Francisco’s Bay Bridge.

Michael holds a BS in business administration from Temple University and an MBA in strategic leadership from Dominican University.
